I like to think of it this way, multicore is like having multiple personalities fighting over the same brain... not good. | Great graphics, with awesome capabilities, but can get very laggy at times, with either too many enemies on the screen or too many special effects at once. | Maximum of 4 controllers. Downside: the wireless require you to buy a powerpack or batteries. | An increadable Xbox Live Communication system that allows you to communicate with friends in the middle of any game. Able to process 2 trillion calculations per second! And thats multi processor, not multicore, like have several brains! Yay lol | Unbeatable Nvidia Geforce Quad SLI 8800 was the most powerful graphics processor available until the 9800 was released. Recent companies were only able to force the PS3 to 40% capacity! Thats 60% unused, meaning this thing didnt even break a sweat! | Maximum 7 controllers. All wireless and no batteries needed. Al come with a recharging cord that plugs into the PS3 during. Also each controller has tilt sensitivity for airplane games and the like. | The PS3 does not have an imbedded communication, but is able to go onine just like a computer, so you could use it to check your email and such. | $499-599 ~ now dropped to $399 | not a very large selection, but thats the way it was with the PS2 too.
